= Compact course on generalized Radon transforms = by Gaik Ambartsoumian, June 10-22, 2013 == Objective == Prof. Ambartsoumian and Dr. Krishnan had research collaborations in inverse problems. Furthermore, they worked together with Dr. Rishu Saxena, a post doctoral fellow at TIFR-CAM, Bangalore on numerical implementation of certain inversion formulas for the circular Radon transform. Prof. Ambartsoumian gave four lectures on “Integral Geometry and Mathematical Problems of Image Reconstruction”. == List of topics of lectures == Spherical Radon transform arising in thermo and photo-acoustic tomographies, elliptical Radon transform arising in bi-static setups of ultrasound imaging and Radar and V-line transform arising in the single scattering optical tomography. == Audience == Faculty members, Researchers, post-doctoral fellows and students of TIFR-CAM, Bangalore and various research institutes in Bangalore.
