About the school
In this school, after a brief review of the basics, advanced topics will
be covered by specialists in the area which will lead to
frontier research problems. Topics include semilinear elliptic
equations,Parabolic and Hyperbolic equations,Pseudo-differential
operators and Navier-Stokes equations. Theory and some aspects of
computational methods will be discussed. There will be tutorials by
speakers where problems, more exampls and finer aspects of his/her
lectures will be discussed.

All selected candidates are invited to participate in an International Conference which will be held at TIFR-CAM, Bangalore in memory of Prof S L Yadava during January 7th-9th 2009.
You may recall prof S L Yadava for the important contributions he had made in the study of Semilinear Elliptic Problems and Concentration Phenomena. It is unfortunate that Prof S L Yadava suffered from Neuron Disease from early 2000 and passed away on 7th of June 2007.
