Entropy stable discontinuous galerkin scheme for ideal compressible MHD equations
We construct an entropy stable scheme for compressible ideal MHD equations. This is achieved by using a recently proposed entropy conservative flux together with a penalty term. We propose to use non-entropy variables in order to satisfy locally divergence free condition for the magnetic field. This is made possible by adding an additional stabilization term similar to a shock capturing term.
