A Paley-Wiener theorem for the inverse Fourier transform on some homogeneous spaces
Abstract
We plan to formulate and prove a version of Paley-Wiener theorem for the inverse Fourier trasform on symmetric spaces, both compact and noncompact and also for some eigenfunction expansions related to the Heisenberg group. A key role is played by the so-called Gutzmer's formula both in the formulation and proof.
