Kac-Moody algebras, vertex operators and applications
Abstract
We will discuss some aspects of the representation theory of Kac-Moody algebras and their applications based on free field realizations of Affine Lie algebras and theory of vertex algebras. In particular, recent joint results with Y.Billig on the representations of the Lie algebra of vector fields on N-dimensional torus will be considered.
